CTD Open Division

AIM drove into CTD ready to get good reps against teams from all over Eastern Europe. Although hard-court is hard on the hooves, our cows were ready for some stomping.

AIM split into two teams, TUFAIM and TUFMen. AIM's coaches are hit and miss with team names. Day 1 was a tough fight at the feeding trough for TUFMen having gone 1-3, losing by only 1-2 points in all of the games including against TUFAIM. TUFAIM rolled through on an inverse 3-1 Saturday.

But, as Al Pacino in Any Given Sunday says...
"Any Given Sunday"

And a Sunday it was for the boys, both winning their semi-final matches to meet in the Finals. Horns rustled, hooves trampled, moos brayed throughout the hall for a super intense Cattle Battle Royale (at least Richard is good with words). TUFAIM continued their dominance with a universe 9-8 win over their brethren TUFMEN.

CTD "Mixed" Division

While technically not a Mixed division, Division 2 for CTD saw quite a few mixed teams. TUF put together a ragtag team of athletic does and antique bulls for a herd that was determined to match the success of The Herd.

TUF went up against quite a few pure Open teams, but never lost their motivation. Scraping and fighting, TUF made it into the 5th place bracket. One comeback after another, the team climbed Jacob's Ladder all the way up to the stars.

Coming into the 5th place match, everyone was firing on whatever cylinders they had left. Falling behind early, the team was down by as many as 4 points and all hope seemed lost. But then one break, two breaks, red break, blue break and BOOM. All tied up.

But the break train rolls on frictionless tracks, all the way to the Promised Land. 5th place was all but a formality at the point.
