The Herd was ready to roll for its first-ever beach tournament! Joined by friends of The Herd to form two very talented mixed teams, AIM and AIM2 were excited to take their talents to the sand.

AIM2 started with an early morning set of matches. It took them a few games to find their hooves, but off the back of Németh Márton's inside break throws and Levente Nagy's deep cuts, the team finished the day with a 3-2 record, and qualifying for Semi-Finals as the #2 seed from their group.

AIM's first game was a rematch of 2025's Final against Zszsgyv. A hotly contested match with lots of fireworks, but unfortunately AIM's lack of subs and turnovers lead to a heartbreaking 8-9 Universe Point loss. AIM took that frustration to win their remaining 4 games to finish the group stage 4-1 and punch their ticket to the semi-final.

Sunday

Semi-Final matchups for Sunday were destined for Erős Pista spiciness.

AIM2 vs Zszsgyv
AIM vs GTV

AIM2 was a 5-1 underdog going into the match against the 3-time reigning champions. But, with the addition of Levente Molnár and Kata Vígh on Sunday, AIM2 had its horns sharpened. The game was close, back and forth, with several Molnár Brother hucks to keep the game close. The game finally came to a climax at Universe Point. David against the Goliath.

AIM2 started on offense, but then a TURN! Zszsgyv had the disc, and pushed it all the way down to the endzone. A curved pass for a goal was there, and then BOOM! Kata Vígh came from nowhere to get a poach block. AIM2 moved the disc back down the other way for an almost identical cross-field blade but this time finding a tip-toeing Levente Nagy for the game-winning upset goal!

AIM had an intense and high-spirited game against GTV in its semi-final. With Miksa Mikán and a rested Gréta Hartai, The Cows were back to full-power. A very close game from start to finish, but AIM took a lead early and held onto it from start to end for a close win to punch its ticket to the Final.

And then there were two. An All-AIM Cow-tacular Final with the upstart underdogs against last year's 2nd place finishers. Another close and high-spirited game from start to finish. AIM took an early lead and rode out the storm all the way back to the pasture for a 10-9 win in an exciting and beautiful finish.
