Seven Open Division

AIM's entire Herd was chomping at the bit for Seven 2026. It was finally a chance for the cattle to bring together 4 different ranches, Hungary, Romania, Sweden, and Israel, to play on full-field 7v7.

Our horns were sharp, grass was green, and stomachs growling for grub. There was an expectation of growing pains as always with bringing together rival herds into one for the first time.

Fortunately, the Herd was able to play nice together and share the feeding trough without any issues. Putting together a high-powered offense off the hind hooves of Omri Ben Zion, and the Double Dragons of David Tiszay and Eli Schade, the team was shaping up to have a fun weekend.

The Herd learned a lot from the weekend and played much better than the 8th Place result suggests, having all of the losses being on Universe or 2 points against strong, EUCS ranked opponents.

Educational Experience

Despite finishing in 8th Place, AIM learned a lot of valuable lessons which will serve as building blocks for chasing its EUCF dreams in 2026.

The Offense was high flying and the Double Dragons were a nightmare to defend in the sky. Fueled by monster mash hucks from Omri, Lázár Gubek, and Yaron Katzir, there will be lots of highlight goals to celebrate this season.

The Defense has lots of work to do. Between conditioning, mechanics, and positioning, there's lots of room for improvement. But, like Coach Szabo says when he was a high-school teacher in Memphis, "Perfection is Boring. Progress is Exciting"

So, get excited for the stampede that's coming in this season. And, as you can see from Lázár's super cool sunglass (that he "borrowed" from Coach), AIM is a fun group.
